OpenNTF is happy to announce a new community website called Collaboration Today.

The content you will find on Collaboration Today is a compilation of current and relevant news for IBM Collaboration Solutions professionals focussing on IBM products and technologies including IBM Connections, IBM Lotus Domino, IBM WebSphere Portal and IBM Sametime.

The content is categorized making it easier for readers to find the information they are looking for. Executives and decision makers can find news in the Business category, developers in the App Dev category, administrators in the Infrastructure category and end-users in the User Experience category. Events, podcasts and videos can be found in the Community section. On the Home page you will find news entries that have been selected by the Collaboration Today editors. On the Recent page you will find entries sorted chronologically and on the Popular page entries that have been accessed the most over the last seven days.

In addition to using the Collaboration Today web site from your web browser, smartphones and tablets, you can also follow news updates via feeds on Twitter. Application developers can embed news entries using the REST API that we have developed.

The site Editors are responsible for adding content to the site, categorizing it and can specifically flag it to show on the Home page. Each category has different content Editors, which are all listed on the About page. If you are interested in becoming an editor, please read the moderation policies and contact us.

Collaboration Today is owned and operated by OpenNTF Inc., a group of 31 member companies that leverage IBM Collaboration Solutions technologies. The site is hosted by OpenNTF Member Prominic.NET. The Collaboration Today content management application was created by Bruce Elgort, Per Henrik Lausten, Serdar Basegmez, Frank van der Linden and Niklas Heidloff and will be made available as an open source XPages application template on OpenNTF.

Today we are having our "soft launch" of the site. We might change some of the sub-categories over time based on your feedback. We would also like to engage more community moderators. Please try out Collaboration Today and let us know what you think.
